Ade Edmondson & the Bad Shepherds - The Bad Shepherds with Adrian Edmondson play punk songs on folk instruments. Not as a gag, but because they really like the noise. They think the songs are better than people remember. They love folk instruments. It works. They do songs by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Jam, The Ramones, The Buzzcocks, The Specials, Squeeze and others, even Kraftwerk! They've mostly given the songs a kind of Celtic feel, and they've stuck in the odd reel and jig here and there. Baston concert:  John Kirkpatrick - John is one of the most prolific figures on the English folk scene, performing solo, in duos, acoustic groups and electric bands, and has established an enviable reputation as an instrumental virtuoso and session musician, as well as a leader interpreter of English folk music. He has been a member of the Albion Country Band, Magic Lantern, the Richard Thompson Band, Umps and Dumps, Steeleye Span, Brass Monkey, Trans-Europe Diatonique and Band of Hope as well as innumerable ceilidh bands. As songwriter, composer, choreographer and musical director, he has contributed to over 60 plays in the theatre and on radio. CANCELLED Feast of Lincolnshire Folk - featuring John Sykes (plays in The Old Parrot Band and the Norwegian Blues Folk duo. When performing solo, John provides a humorous mixture of songs, tunes and readings. He is a former winner of the Radio Lincolnshire “Write a Folk Song” competition) - Winter Wilson (one of the county’s most respected folk acts. This duo perform mostly their own material and have supported all the top acts at major festivals across UK.
